Responsibilities:
- Target, identify and develop prospects in life sciences and healthcare;
- Develop and execute sales plans for qualified opportunities;
- Build and lead an ad-hoc sales team of subject matter experts, operations managers, leadership, and/or partners for each opportunity;
- Coordinate prospective customer tours of Company’s Asian language call center in Dalian, China;
- Build and manage individual sales pipeline using Company opportunity management system (Oracle OnDemand);
- Assist as needed with marketing functions, including preparation and participation in Asian conferences/trade shows, development of sales support materials, and coordination with tele-, email-, and internet-marketing campaigns;
- Act as liaison to Company’s strategic partners in the region;
- Based in Shanghai (or Beijing).
Requirements:
- 5+ years selling IT services and/or complex technology solutions;
- Experience selling to senior level executives of Fortune 1000 companies;
- Clinical software experience will be a plus;
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, additional Asian language(s) a plus;
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical clinical operations and software;
- Masters degree a plus.
