Job functions:

  • To assist Sales in the development of trade programs to grow sales and deliver profitable volume by matching brand strategies to specific retailer strategies through development of trade partnership. It is also required to provide support on the day-to-day management of the trade marketing operation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Promotion & Information
  • To co-ordinate between sales and vendor on Bone scan events;
  • To assist in the development and implementation of trade marketing plans to achieve desired sales;
  • To help tracking promotional results;
  • To build database on trade, market, sales, competitive information for analysis;
  • To plan, implement, control and review the use of trade expenses.

   2.   Channel Development

  • To update and maintain active customer list for different channels;
  • To monitor pricing, ranging, merchandising, promotional activities and competitive activities at different channels;
  • To analyze effectiveness of various promotional activities at different channels;
  • To assist in the implementation of key accounts management, particularly business reviews, channel strategies, specific channel promotions, plan-o-gram development, and category management;
  • To provide inputs on developments of brand, market and channel based on factual data collected.

   3.    Key Results Areas

  • Effective reporting and analyses on Ranging and Distribution; Shelf Management; Promotional Effectiveness and Trade Partnership;
  • Timely implementation and reporting on trade marketing activities.

    4.  Reporting

  • Report to Regional Sales Manager

Requirements:

  • University graduate;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in trade marketing;
  • Speak fluent English with computer proficiency in MS Office;
  • Good communication skills and strategic thinking are essential;
  • Good inter-personal skills and negotiations skills are also necessary.
