[Storage protocol, Senior, ODM, device driver]
Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical support person for the design and implementation processes of converged networking solutions;
- Work closely with OEM partners, development engineers and program managers to support on-site solution bring up, test, and system integration activities;
- Focus in early engagement and development phases;
- Work with development engineering to provide insight and update to facilitate communications / problem resolutions.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering;
- 5+ years customer support or software/hardware test experience required;
- Requires a thorough understanding of Ethernet and storage protocols (FC, FCoE, iSCSI) & Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, VMware);
- Experience writing firmware or device drivers for Linux or Windows;
- Experienced in troubleshooting and resolving hardware or software issues;
- Familiarity using various types of test equipment including protocol analyzers;
- Experience in one or more scripting languages;
- Proficiency in English.
